Terms of service

These terms apply to your use of Tilamu (tilamu.com) and to every order you place. By using the site or placing an order you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Who we are

What the service does

You upload photos, we generate personalized designs from them with automated tools, and you can order physical products printed with those designs. Business customers can also buy credits to generate print files through our dashboard and API.

Your account

You sign in with Google or an email code. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access to it. We may suspend an account that is used abusively or unlawfully.

Your photos and designs

• You must own the photos you upload or have permission to use them, including the permission of anyone who appears in them.
• You keep your rights in your photos. You give us a limited license to store, process and reproduce them and the designs made from them only to provide the service to you: generating designs, showing previews, printing and delivering your order, and supporting you.
• Do not upload content that is illegal, that sexualizes minors, that infringes someone else's rights, or that is hateful or abusive. We may refuse to generate or print any design, and may cancel and refund an order, if we believe it breaks these rules.
• We do not use your photos or designs in public galleries or marketing unless you explicitly opt in.

Generated results

Designs are produced by automated tools, so results vary and may not match what you imagined. We do not charge for a generation that fails. Designs you simply do not like count as a used generation.

Prices and payment

Prices are shown in US dollars. Product prices exclude shipping, which is a separate charge shown before you pay. Payments are processed by PayPal; we do not see or store your card details. An order is accepted when your payment is confirmed.

Credits

Credits pay for generating designs and print files. Credits are priced and sold in packs as shown before purchase, and each generation uses one credit. Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred, except where the law requires otherwise or we agree to refund an unused purchase.

Cancellations, returns and refunds

Products are made to order from your photos. Because of that, we generally cannot accept change-of-mind returns. If your order arrives damaged, defective or not as ordered, contact us within 30 days of delivery with photos and we will reprint or refund it. If we cannot fulfil an order, we refund it in full. See the shipping and returns page for delivery details. Refunds go back to the original PayPal payment.

Availability and delivery

We deliver to most countries but not to every one; see the shipping page. Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees.

Acceptable use of the API

If you use the API, keep your keys secret, stay within published limits, and do not resell access to the service in a way that bypasses our terms.

Our responsibility

The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the order or credits concerned. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continued use after a change means you accept it. Changes do not affect orders already placed.
